The India-Oxford Initiative (IndOx) is an academic-led, cross-divisional platform at the University of Oxford to share, promote and build on the university's diverse range of collaborations and partnerships with India. Informally set up in 2018 and formally launched on 28 February 2020, it serves as a hub for students, academics, and administrative staff across the university – as well as external stakeholders, including academic colleagues in India, donors, and partners.

IndOx celebrates everything India and subcontinent at the University of Oxford. We aim to capture the breadth and depth of the India related activities at the University and share this with the world at large.

The Initiative is run by the India-Oxford Strategy Board (SB), a university-wide body with representatives from all five divisions - Humanities; Mathematical Physical and Life Sciences (MPLS); Social Sciences; Medical Sciences Division; Gardens, Libraries and Museums (GLAM) - and key colleges with an interest in India.

There are a number of colleges, centres and programmes at the University of Oxford with a focus on, connections to, or specific interest in India and the subcontinent.
