Support our work to enrich and promote research on and collaboration with India at the University of Oxford

The India-Oxford Initiative (IndOx) was established in 2018 as a unique new platform to enrich the study of India. IndOx promotes innovative, multi- and inter-disciplinary research, and facilitates and sustains academic collaborations and partnerships between individuals and institutions in India and academics and researchers at University of Oxford. IndOx also provides grants for research, academic visits and research travel; offers support to current on-course students with their research; organises and sponsors events and activities to bring together researchers from India and Oxford; and has developed an online searchable database of researchers at Oxford working on India across all academic disciplines, with a view to promoting collaborations and multi-disciplinary research. In this way, IndOx acts as a hub to coordinate, support, and fund India-related activities across the University and serves as a contact point for potential external partners. Through various events and activities, the website, and other forms of online and offline communication, IndOx highlights and showcases exciting and important research done by our academics, researchers and students, as well as by our Indian colleagues and partners.
