IndOx Grants Re-Open for Applications in Trinity Term

IndOx is again offering a number of small grants (£500-£1,500) to support costs for research travel to or from the Indian subcontinent, for visiting academics with an India or subcontinent academic/research focus, or for collaborations with cultural partners in Oxford or in the subcontinent. Applications for Trinity Term close Tuesday 7 June 2022.

'Manisha Gera Baswani: Postcards from Home' Exhibition at the Ashmolean Museum

'Postcards from Home' opens in Gallery 29 at the Ashmolean from 14 May 2022 until 12 Mar 2023. Marking the 75th anniversary of India’s partition, the exhibition features postcards of 47 artists from India and Pakistan, all with a shared history of the partition of India in 1947, photographed by New Delhi-based artist Manisha Gera Baswani.

Radhakrishnan Lectures 2022 - The Elements in the Anthropocene: Urban India’s Changing Climate

Hosted by All Souls College Oxford, the Radhakrishnan Lectures 2022 from Professor Amita Baviskar of Ashoka University focuses on 'The Elements in the Anthropocene: Urban India’s Changing Climate'. These lectures will take place both at the Old Library, All Souls College and online and all are welcome.
